WhatsApp Adds Dual Accounts on iPhone, AI Chat Features & Easy File Management

WhatsApp has introduced a range of new updates aimed at improving user experience, including a long-awaited feature that allows iPhone users to operate two accounts on a single device.

This dual-account functionality, which Android users have enjoyed for some time, is now finally available on iOS. With this update, users can easily switch between accounts, and a visible profile picture in the bottom navigation bar helps clearly identify which account is currently active.

Another major improvement is the expansion of cross-platform chat transfers. Users can now seamlessly move their chat history from iOS devices to Android, making it easier to switch between platforms without losing important conversations.

Storage management has also been upgraded. Users can now locate and remove large files directly within a chat by accessing the chat settings and selecting the storage management option. Additionally, it is now possible to delete only media files from conversations while keeping the text messages intact.

The update also introduces smarter messaging tools. As users type emojis, WhatsApp will suggest matching stickers, which can be inserted instantly with a single tap, making chats more expressive and interactive.

AI-powered features are another highlight. With the help of Meta AI, users can edit images directly within chats before sending them. This feature is available in regions where Meta AI is supported.

Furthermore, a new AI Writing Help tool can generate suggested replies based on the conversation. Despite these advanced features, WhatsApp emphasizes that user privacy remains protected throughout the process.

All of these enhancements are currently being rolled out gradually and are expected to become widely available to users in the near future.
